If your car does not have the aux imput for your Ipod you can place the i2i on the seat or your console. I have played it for about 16 hours off and on with the same batteries. Use a bungee cord to hold it in place, then enjoy it. The compact size is by no means a reduction of sound quality. It has a very good range for R&R, Pop and even Hip Hop.
